Agreement

By accessing or using CherryBank Money, Cherry Invoice, Ask Cherry, related websites, mobile experiences or connected services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.

These terms apply to businesses, account owners, invited users and anyone who accesses the service through an authorised account.

Account Access

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

• Accurate details: keep your business name, contact details, user roles and billing information current.
• Authorised users: only invite people who are allowed to access your business records.
• Security: tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised account access or misuse.
• Responsibility: actions taken under your account may be treated as authorised by you.

Using the Platform

CherryBank Money is provided to help with invoices, quotes, expenses, purchase invoices, credit notes, payments, cash-flow reporting, VAT workflows and related finance operations.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service for your internal business purposes, subject to these terms and your selected plan.

Financial Records

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and legality of the business records you add to the platform. This includes client details, supplier details, prices, invoice values, VAT settings, payment status, due dates and attachments.

VAT and HMRC

VAT and HMRC features rely on the data, settings and authorisations you provide. You are responsible for checking VAT boxes, submission figures and tax records before taking action.

• Authorisation: integrations may require you to connect or disconnect HMRC access using supported flows.
• Review: VAT calculations and summaries should be reviewed before filing or business use.
• Compliance: you remain responsible for meeting tax, accounting and record-keeping obligations.

Ask Cherry AI

Ask Cherry can help interpret finance data, answer questions and guide actions such as reviewing invoices, VAT boxes, purchases, payments or cash-flow insights. AI responses may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate.

You must review AI outputs before relying on them. Ask Cherry does not provide regulated financial, legal, tax or accounting advice.

Subscriptions, Trials and Payments

Access to some features may require a free trial, paid subscription, one-off payment or plan upgrade. Pricing, included features, usage limits and renewal terms are shown in the product or checkout flow.

• Plan limits: usage limits may apply to invoices, users, AI features, storage or integrations.
• Billing: paid plans may renew until cancelled, unless stated otherwise at checkout.
• Taxes: prices may exclude VAT or other taxes unless clearly stated.
• Changes: we may update plans or pricing, with notice where required.

Acceptable Use

You must use the platform lawfully and in a way that does not harm the service, other users or third parties.

• Do not attempt to bypass access controls, copy the platform, reverse engineer protected parts of the service or disrupt availability.
• Do not upload unlawful, misleading, malicious, infringing or harmful content.
• Do not use the platform to send spam, fraudulent invoices or abusive communications.
• Do not share access credentials or use another user's account without permission.

Third-Party Services

The platform may connect to third-party services such as HMRC, payment providers, email services, cloud infrastructure or analytics providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party systems outside our control.

Service Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the platform reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, suspend, limit or discontinue features where needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance or product improvement.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, fail to pay amounts due, misuse the service, create security risk or use the platform unlawfully. You may stop using the service at any time, subject to any active subscription or billing terms.

Disclaimers and Liability

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses, including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, data or business opportunity.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect product, operational, legal or security changes. When we make changes, we will update the date on this page. Continued use of the platform after an update means the latest terms apply.
